We are proud to say that we have not only worked the fields but also have been manufacturing cigars in the Dominican Republic for over 30 years.

Family History
The Cuevas Family, Spaniard immigrants in Cuba since the early XIX Century, established in the province of Pinar del Rio, region of Vuelta Abajo.
well known as the only region in the Republic of Cuba that produces the three parts of the plant needed to make a good and perfect cigar, where our forefathers made a living as agriculturists and Cigar makers since the early 1800'.
Our pride is in a perfect cigar, starting with the planting, cultivation and process; we manufacture the most prestigious and high quality cigars.
Early 1960"s the Cuevas family immigrated to the USA taking with them their vast knowledge in tobacco and cigar making.
Soon after, they moved to "`Valle del Cibao" in the Dominican Republic where they established and founded Tabacalera Cuevas y Hermanos.
"We started making hand made long filler premium cigars with Cuban seeds, or what it is best known as "piloto Cubano" of extremely high quality".
We have specialized “tabaqueros” or rollers who make the cigars with the leaves that have been harvested and processed in our own fields, having an aging process of no less than 3 years.
Today, Tabacalera Cuevas & Hermanos S.R.L., is the heart that keeps our heritage....
